Wow, has it really been years since I last posted? I guess we're due for an update!
Here is a synopsis of the last several years for us...
2011 - We moved to Florida in July!
2012 - Found a church; visited CA in September.
2013 - Robert had shoulder surgery; visited CA a couple of times, for two weddings and a baby; Robert changed jobs to work at same company as me.
2014 - Probably the biggest news is that we bought a house in June. We love it out here! It's a little bit city but enough country to make it feel like we live far from the city. We were able to buy a decent sized 3/2 with a two car garage. We even have double sinks and a walk-in closet in the master! More than I expected to find in anything in our budget. It's been great being able to have people over and even host our life group at times - we are grateful God gave us a place that we can use for His good! It's something we'd hoped for, for years! We were even able to host my entire family for a couple of days between Christmas and New Year's. That was fun! That visit even included hanging out with my adorable nephew, Judah! (Who will be two next June and actually now has a sibling due in April, yay!)
2015 - Celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary with a small trip to Savannah. A-MAZ-ing city - we loved the history! Also, celebrated the first summer we did NOT move since 2010...whew! Robert also changed jobs again recently. He is working full time hours at a store at our local mall. He will also be working part time with YFC, Youth For Christ, soon. Lord-willing that will turn in to a full time thing - Robert really feels God calling him to work with the youth full time. Look for a letter in the mail soon explaining what that is all about! The year is not over yet and we can't wait to see what God has in store for us! One of my goals is to keep this blog up to date, so stay tuned!
